这两天发生的事情太过了,i can't take that stuff anymore.

从被University of Oregon录取到university of Minnesota-Twin Cities录取,还有iowa state u和penn state u那么多学校来抢我.

我很佩服她的勇气,maybe i should try too.

Anyway,i m still waiting 4 my visa interview...

Today,i watched the CD which i got it on last saturday the day in HuaTing hotel.I remember that american colleges fair, like some non-ghetto food market .haha.

so i feel much better when i finished watching the video, and my mum can actually let me fly without her worries.thats means a lot to me.

Let's talk about this video, actually it doesn't let me down,on contrary it gives me a lot of confidence. And otherwise i finally can finish my mother's favorite TV documentary or newsreel. That somthing really surprise me a lot,my mum said she really wants to go to LA.

I dunno how 2 say. i think he was a sick individual.fuck him.

its not his race of ethnicity that did it .. he was just goddamn CRAZY.

he lacked attention so that is how he reached out for it.. its a horriabe way to do it though.

he never spoke to anyone.. so people gave up on him..

but he blamed everyone for being rich and snobby and blamed Everyone for not socialy accepting him but he didn't want to be accepted.he planed this he wanted it to be this way... and its just aweful that he did what he did...

Summer or winter, rain or shine, there's always great stuff going on in New York City, so there's no real "best" time to go. Culture hounds might come in fall, winter, and early spring, when the theater and performing arts seasons reach their heights. During summer, many of the top cultural institutions, especially Lincoln Center, offer free, alfresco entertainment. Those who want to see the biggest hits on Broadway usually have the best luck getting tickets in the slower months of January and February. Gourmands might find it easiest to land the best tables during July and August, when New Yorkers escape the city on weekends. If you prefer to walk every city block to take in the sights, spring and fall usually offer the mildest and most pleasant weather. New York is a nonstop holiday party from early December through the start of the new year. Celebrations of the season abound in festive holiday windows and events like the lighting of the Rockefeller Center tree and the Radio City Christmas Spectacular -- not to mention those terrific seasonal sales that make New York a holiday shopping bonanza. However, keep in mind that hotel prices go sky high (more on that), and the crowds are almost intolerable. If you'd rather have more of the city to yourself -- better chances at restaurant reservations and show tickets, easier access to museums and other attractions -- choose another time of year to visit.

LOL。 我想有又要开始了,okey, here we go. 你们可以share ur own! Many consider that long week or 10 days that arrive each summer between mid-July and mid-August, when temperatures go up to around 100°F (38°C) with 90% humidity as New York's worst weather. But don't get put off by this -- summer has its compensations, such as wonderful free open-air concerts and other events, as I've already mentioned -- but bear it in mind. But if you are at all temperature sensitive, your odds of getting comfortable weather are better in June or September. Another period when you might not like to stroll around the city is during January or February, when temperatures are commonly in the 20s (below 0 Celsius) and those concrete canyons turn into wind tunnels. The city looks gorgeous for about a day after a snowfall, but the streets soon become an ugly, slushy mess. Again, you never know -- temperatures have regularly been in the 30s and mild 40s (single digits Celsius) during the past few winters. If you hit the weather jackpot, you could have a bargain bonanza. Fall and spring are the best times in New York. From April to June and September to November, temperatures are mild and pleasant, and the light is beautiful. With the leaves changing in Central Park and just the hint of crispness in the air, October is a fabulous time to be here -- but expect to pay for the privilege.

NEW YORK has always been known as a city capable of sating any desire: for money, for high fashion, for companionship. But if you're just a bespectacled out-of-towner who suffers from simple book lust, its eclectic collection of independent bookstores can scratch your itch, too. Even with the Jolly Green Corporate Bookstore Giant spreading its shelves throughout Manhattan faster than Meg Ryan's 1998 laptop can say “You've got mail,” the city still has many spots where specialized collections, cozy atmosphere and friendly and knowledgeable staff win out over huge selection, standardized décor and jam-packed cafes (serving coffee from that other Jolly Gree The Complete Traveller Bookstore is the perfect example of a tiny shop that can suck you in and not spit you out till hours later, lost in dreamy thoughts of other places and times. It is set up like the travel section of a regular bookstore — that is, geographically — except that all the books here are vintage, if not downright ancient. Harry A. Franck's “Roaming Through the West Indies” was undoubtedly a useful guidebook in the 1920s, long before Lonely Planet made traveling the planet much less lonely. And you don't see too many book titles like “A Yankee in Pygmy Land” these days. The back room also has a beguiling batch of W.P.A. American Guides from the 1930s and early 1940s, when out-of-work writers were paid by the government to write guidebooks to the 48 states. For the cartographically inclined, there is an absorbing collection of historical United States and international maps for sale, many of them hand-colored. n Corporate Giant). And, of course, there's the Strand, which says it offers 18 miles of new and used books — that's roughly from Midtown to Paterson, N.J. It's not for those looking for a peaceful, comfy corner to settle down in, but the used books and discounted new ones are impossible to match. Anyone can build an instant (though quirky) library from the dollar shelves on the sidewalk outside, and search inside for everything from “The Field Guide to Warblers of North America” to Anne Lamott's “Bird by Bird” to William Wharton's “Birdy.”

IF your knowledge of Scotch begins with Johnnie Walker and ends at “on the rocks,” a weekend spent tasting expensive single malts at whiskey bars around the city might seem pointless, even intimidating. But you would be underestimating the evangelical fervor of the New York City Scotch enthusiast. Unlike the wine world, where sophisticates frown upon bumpkins who cannot distinguish a muscadine from a super-Tuscan, the inability to tell a Highlands from an Islay (or even a single malt from a blend) will hardly cause you grief. Be it a bartender, a waitress or the guy grinning on the next stool over, there is always somebody ready to give advice (this is New York, after all), hoping to bring another drinker into the figurative folds of the Scotch-lover's collective kilt. REAL estate agents have a knack for investing any Manhattan neighborhood with romance, no matter how harsh or dowdy its past. The bloodstained meatpacking district in recent years has assumed a sudden charm. Then there's the Lower East Side, which has become a cradle to luxury condos after spending decades as a place where immigrants of all stripes strived to get to, then sought to leave as quickly as possible — a kind of perpetual springboard to a better life. Around the turn of the 20th century, millions of Jews fled pogroms in Eastern Europe for New York. Among the throng were Abraham Goldfaden, who began the Yiddish theater in 1876 in Jassy, and his followers, including the spirited clown Sigmund Mogolesku, who influenced everyone from LA to NYC.
